CLCM Provides Update on RTO Installation (7/27/28)

On July 27, 2018 CLCM sent a letter to residents near our facility in St. Francis providing an update on the installation of the RTO:

To: St. Francis Resident

From: Container Life Cycle Management (CLCM) LLC

Subj: Update on Installation of Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer (RTO)

Date: July 27, 2018

As our neighbors in the St. Francis community, we are contacting you to provide an update on our progress at the Mid-America reconditioning facility on Pennsylvania Avenue. Earlier this year, we informed St. Francis residents of our plans to install a regenerative thermal oxidizer (RTO) at the facility. RTOs are widely recognized as the most effective way to destroy odor-causing compounds and the installation of this equipment represents a multi-million dollar investment by the company. Since our last communication, we have:

  • Engaged Catalytic Products International (CPI) to design and custom manufacture a RTO for the facil

  • Submitted a permit application to the Wisconsin DNR (WDNR), which is undergoing a thorough review; and

  • Confirmed with the WDNR our ability to commence construction and prepare for the RTO’s arrival at the St. Francis facility.

In May, representatives from CLCM and CPI were on hand to break ground for the RTO’s concrete foundation. Images of the platform construction, as well as a diagram of how the completed RTO will function, are included on the attached document. Additional photos can be viewed on the website www.clcmwi.com.

In the coming days equipment for the RTO installation will be arriving at the St. Francis facility. You may notice increased activity as installation commences. CLCM is committed to being a good neighbor in the St. Francis community. We will continue to add updates to the website to keep you informed about the RTO progress as well as other matters regarding the facility. If you prefer, you can send feedback or ask questions via our hotline at 414-502-7358 or via email at info@clcmwi.com. As always, our highest priority remains the health and safety of our employees and the communities in which we operate.
